The path reaches a high plain which is covered with terraces. We turn left approaching the highest part of the plain in a copse of short oak trees. A cairn marks the turning. Note: This photograph was taken only a few months after a fire which destroyed the vegetation in the area. The trees have since recovered their foliage.
