A geologist mentioned that he had read that Montgó's Eye had been formed
as the result of an earthquake. Basically a great chunk of rock fell out. This
needs to be verified!
The picture below is typical of the limestone rocks seen on the Montgó.
Deep rivulets have been formed by many years of rainwater erosion. To develop
such a pattern the rocks must have been sitting in the same place for a long
time.
