Linaria amethystea - Spanish toadflax
Castellano: zapatillas
Anual, varying in height from about 10 to 25cm; usually only one stem. Leaves
narrow, lowest in a whorl, upper alternate. Flowers varying from white or cream
with a light violet spur; to yellow with violet lines, or pinkish.
Flowers: April to June
Several subspecies. Linaria is a confusing genus and ripe seeds are necessary
