Fritillaria lusitanica - Fritillary (Lily Family)

Like a nodding, bell-shaped tulip. Flowers browny-red, red-orange or purplish
on the outside with a green stripe. (Phillips: Mediterranean Wild Flowers 1988)
Flowers from March to July. Found in Portugal and Spain. Locally seen in grassy
areas on the northern slopes of the Sierra Bernia.
