Biscutella carolipauana - Buckler mustard
Castellano: Anteojos
The genus (Biscutella) has small bright yellow flowers. The seed vessel
on
bursting resembles two bucklers or shields. In this species the 4 petaled flowers
are borne on long stems in very branched groups. The petals are 3-4mm long. Seed
pods, 8-9 by 3-5mm covered in tiny bumps (papules). The leaves are at the base
of the plant with wavy margins, hairy and rough to the touch.
