Aceras anthropophorum - Man orchid
Flower spike up to 20 cm long with up to 60 greenish/yellow flowers. The shape
of the flowers gives rise to the orchid's common name. The three sepals
form a helmet, beneath which the petals form two arms and legs and give the
appearance of a tiny hanging man. Flowers From April to June. Found in open
grassy areas on mountain slopes.
