Neotinea maculata (Neotinea
intacta) - Dense
flowered orchid
Flower spike small, about 2-3cm tall with densely packed, small (3-5mm), pale
pink or greenish white flowers. The three sepals form a pointed helmet ,
beneath which the three-lobed lip protrudes. The lip is is marked with red.
Locally abundant. Flowers from the middle of April to the beginning of June.
