Ophrys lutea - Yellow bee orchid

(lutea from the Latin luteus, meaning yellow) Height of stem :20-30cm. Inflorescence
with 1 to 10 flowers about 1.5 cm wide; with greenish sepals above and a bright
yellow-fringed brown lobe below. Widely distributed in the Mediterranean region
at altitudes up to 1200m. Flowers from March to June.
